GESiDR1 database release

Please note that there have been several updates to the GESiDR1 release. See the release history for details.

This initial release contains preliminary iDR1 recommended parameters and abundances as of July 2013. The release also contains iDR2 metadata and targets but not the spectra themselves.

Initially the archive can be queried using the freeform SQL form, additional access points will be provided in subsequent releases togther with the spectra themselves and the 2-D frames that produced them.

This release contains derived astrophysical parameters for around 9,000 stars from some of the working groups.

The main content in the release is held in the following tables.

Metadata from the observations are held in the SpecFrame, Spectrum and Target tables.
