Which parameters should be used for science publications?

The GES Consortium PIs have made the following statement about the use of astrophysical parameters in publications and analyses leading to publications.

We recall the policy statement from the publication policy document:

"The only astrophysical parameters which may be analysed in a publication are the best parameters: photometric, spectroscopic, astrophysical parameters, elemental abundances, velocities, etc, and their random and systematic uncertainties, held in the Survey archive. Publication based on any other data requires prior special agreement with the Co-PIs."

This rule specifically applies to the products included in individual releases as follows:

  1. iDR4,
  2. iDR2iDR3 and iDR2.
